OpenScape Voice is configured with the OpenScape Voice Assistant.
Equivalent parameters must be configured in OpenScape Voice. The following data must be correctly configured:
Configuration of endpoint profile
The endpoint profile must be created before the endpoints.
Open the list of endpoint profiles in OpenScape Voice Assistant with OpenScape Voice > Business Group > Available Private Numbering Plan = NP_Gateways > Profiles > Endpoint Profile.
Choose the relevant endpoint profile from the list (e.g. HP4K) or create a new profile.
Tab General:
  • Endpoint Profile:
    • Name: HP4K
    • Remark: <optional>
    • Numbering Plan: NP_Gateways
  • Management Information
    • Class of Service: international
    • Routing Area: H4K_Network
    • Calling Location: <optional>
    • Time Zone: LOCAL
    • SIP Privacy Support: FULL
    • Failed Call Intercept Treatment: Enabled
    Tab Endpoints:
    This tab contains a list of endpoints assigned to the current profile.
    Tab Services:
  • Message Waiting: Yes
  • Call Transfer: Yes
  • Call Forward Invalid Destination: No
  • Toll and Call restrictions: No
Endpoint data that describes the connection to OpenScape 4000
OpenScape Voice > Business Group > Members > Endpoints > Name
Tab General:
Definition of connection data for an endpoint. Define the name and the profile here.
The Registered checkbox is activated automatically if the CGW has the status registered.
Tab SIP:
Configuration of IP address and CGW port and general configuration for SIP-Q.
  • Choose the option button SIP-Q Signaling.
  • Enter (Static, Dynamic):
    • If Static is entered here, HG 3500 (SIP) registration is not required.
    • If Dynamic is entered, HG 3500 (SIP) registration is required.
  • Signaling Binding Address: IP address of CGW (this parameter must correspond with the parameter IPADDR in the AMO CGWB)
  • Port: (this parameter must correspond with the parameter PORTTCP2 in the AMO CGWB)
  • Transport protocol: TCP
Tab Attributes:
Set Support of Best Effort SRTP to Enabled (MIKEY, SDES, Automatic) and activate the checkbox next to Enable Session Timer.
Tab Aliases:
When configuring the endpoint displayed by OpenScape 4000 (i.e. HG 3500), the following parameters must correspond with the data configured in the AMO CGWB:
  • Name: This parameter must correspond with the parameter GWID1.
  • IP Address of CGW: This parameter must correspond with the parameter IPADDR.
  • Aliases:
  • The ID of the gateway is used for dynamic registration. This is entered in the AMO CGWB in the branch LEGKDATA in the parameter GWDIRNO.
    Set the IP address of OpenScape 4000 to "trusted".
    OpenScape Voice > Administration > Signaling Management > Digest Authentication > Realms > Add
    Activate the checkbox Trusted Entry, enter the IP address of the CGW in the field Signaling Primary and select All Ports.
    Signaling and registration parameters that describe the OpenScape Voice registration data (IP address, port, login)
    The data entered here must correspond with the data entered in the AMO CGWB for ERH or SSA.
    The listening IP address must be entered in the IP address of the external registrar.
    The TCP/UDP port must be set in the field TCP/UDP Port.
    The data set for authentication (UserID, Password, Realm) must correspond with the data entered in the AMO CGWB in the data branch for SSA.
    Aliases:
    The ID of the gateway is used for dynamic registration. This is entered in the AMO CGWB in the branch LEGKDATA in the parameter GWDIRNO.
