Name and number display
  • Incoming calls to OpenScape 4000:
    • Calling party (Lync Communications Server) will see for basic call dialed number.
    • Called party (OpenScape 4000) will see for basic call calling number and name on first display line.
    • Connected party on OpenScape 4000 will see for basic call calling number and name.
    • Connected party on Lync Communications Server will see for basic call dialed number but no name.
  • Outgoing calls to Lync Communications Server:
    • Calling party (OpenScape 4000) will see for basic call dialed number and SIP trunk name.
    • Called party (Lync Communications Server) will see for basic call calling number and name.(1)
    • Connected party on OpenScape 4000 will see for basic call dialed number and SIP trunk name.
    • Connected party on Lync Communications Server will see for basic call calling number and name.(2)
  • CLIP/CLIR features - Calling Party Name and Number delivery (Allowed and Restricted).
  • Restriction (name and number display): Missed call notification doesn't include Display Name information associated with the calling party.
  • Special note: Used numbering plan is E.164 (ISDN/International).
Codecs
  • G.711a-Law, ptime=20msec preferred codec G.711 u -Law
  • G.729 is not supported by Lync Communications Server
  • G.723 is not supported by OpenScape 4000 Softgate and Lync Communications Server
  • Silence suppression for G711 is not possible while different signaling is used.
    • Lync Communications Server uses Comfort Noise PT (13)
    • vHG 35xx / OpenScape 4000 uses attribute: silenceSupp:on - not supported by Lync Communications Server.
  • Restrictions:
    • G.729, G.723 is not supported
    • Silence suppression is not supported
