The security parameters are different for native SIP trunk profiles and SIP-Q trunk profiles.

RTP security mode for SIP-Q trunk profiles

RTP security mode can be configured for SIP-Q trunk profiles. The common gateway board does not support SDES, thus this menu is not offered. If all conditions for SRTP are fulfilled, the payload is encrypted in accordance with the configuration.

Security mode for native SIP trunking

For native SIP trunk the security mode is displayed. The security mode is defined by the AMO TDCSU and the released security level of the selected SIP trunk partner.
The common gateway board does not support payload security on the native SIP trunk. If all conditions for security, signaling and/or payload will be encrypted. The payload is encrypted with the tested and released SDES mode.
