The Management LAN interface must be assigned an IP address with the assistance of
AMO CGWB (HG 3500, STMIX, STMIY) or with AMO STMIB (HG 3575) in order to activate
the feature.
Use the branch MANLANIF in AMO STMIB and AMO CGWB with the following
parameters:
MIPADR=<number>, MNETMASK=<number>,
MVLAN=<param>, MVLANID=<number>,
MDEFRT=<number>
Only for STMI boards: If these parameters are changed, the
board has to be reset twice in order to obtain the modified data. The first reset
provides the new configuration data to the affected board and the second reset
activates it.
HG 3500, HG 3575, STMIX and STMIY boards provide two Ethernet interfaces, LAN1 is
now
assigned automatically to the Voice LAN and LAN2 to the Management LAN.
INFO:
Static route will automatically be created for IP defined under MGNTIP, derived
from SIPCO:ASTIP, when it is in a different network to the Management Network. For
any other IPs static routes must be manually created in the HG.
Note for STMI
boards:
Static routes to Assistant will automatically be created
for IPs defined under CGWB:MGNTDATA-MGNTIP and -BUSIP when they are in a
different network to the Management Network. For any other IPs static routes
must be manually created in the HG.
The default gateway is the one used
for Voice IP in LAN1, configured via CGWB:GLOBIF-DEFTRT.
Assistant Gateway
Manager should be used to access the board via MANLANIF from a different
network, if static route is not added.
