Hints:

  • (*1) COT Parameters FWDN&FWAN may cause problems when not using a consistent numbering plan throughout the network.
  • (*2) KNDI to allow network calls to automatically camp on to station when calling from DDI.
  • (*3) DFNN is not necessarily needed. Without the parameter, node information is derived from the calling number via LCR. If no route is configured, then the node (NNO) is taken from AMO TDCSU. DFNN is often set by technicians so the AMO TDCSU NNO is always taken.
  • (*4) If the whole network (HiPath 4000/OpenScape 4000, HiPath 3000, OpenScape Voice) uses E.164 numbering and the COT parameter NPIS is set on every digital trunk. If using UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN numbering plan, NPIS should NOT be set.
  • COT parameter NOTO should not be set. From OpenScape Voice V5, tones are heard from the OpenScape 4000 even with Progress messages (delayed disconnect procedure).
  • Set the parameter TRACOUNT (with AMO TDCSU) to the amount of hops which are valid in your network (see section AMO TDCSU)!
  • SECO may also need to be set in USA configurations to allow correct E911 working.
