14.7.6.2. Branch Example with Geo-Separated OpenScape Voice and TLS Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

In branch scenarios (with Survivability-Proxy, e.g. OpenScape Branch or Comdasys) you can have two DNS server entries, one for the local branch-proxy and a central one. Specify the DNS servers in AMO CGWB under parameters DNSIPADR and DNSIPADR2. In this example the network only has one DNS server.
DNS-SVR-records:
br08a2.st.lz.com leads to:
Branch-proxy
Sipsm3 on node1
Sipsm4 on node2.
nd08a.st.lz.com leads to:
Sipsm3 on node1
Sipsm4 on node2.
WBM > Configuration > Voice Gateway > SIP Trunk Profiles > SIPQTrkWith Registration
Section Outbound Proxy:
Activate the checkbox Use Outbound Proxy and insert the DNS-SRV-host-name/IP address (IP Address / Host name (e.g.: br08a2.st.lz.com)) for OpenScape Branch.
