14.12. SIP URI Dialing Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

For internal video calls with OpenScape 4000, OpenScape SBC and OpenScape UC, there are currently two possibilities:
  • Video calls between OpenScape 4000/ OpenScape UC endpoints;
  • Video conferences held by OpenScape UC conference bridge for OpenScape 4000/ OpenScape UC endpoints.
For video calls and video conferences with other companies, OpenScape 4000 supports the following two use cases:
  • Video dial out: OpenScape UC clients type in a SIP URI string and join video conferences from other companies (routed through internet).
  • Video dial in: users from other companies type in a SIP URI string and join the video OpenScape UC conference as unknown users.
The functionality is achieved with the following video components:
  • Call Control: OpenScape 4000
  • Video gateway: OpenScape SBC
  • Video MCU: video conference server
  • Video Clients: OS UC Clients: Fusion, WebRTC client
  • Video Room Systems from Poly: e.g Group series, Group 7500
