This AMO is used for add and administration of the paying party assignment table.
By means of AMO DEFPP the chargee (paying party) of an outgoing or incoming connection from the stations / lines (trunks) taken part with the connection can be selected. The selected chargee is answered to the call processing and transferred during network connection in the further process of the connection over the network.
For internal connections the chargee cannot be selected freely.
The chargee (paying party) of a connection is selected now central in the call charge recording from the station taken part with a connection and answered to the call processing.
The paying party assignment table is divided according to the connection type (CONNTYPE) into three areas for internal connections (INT), for outgoing connections (OUTG) and for incoming connections (INCO).
Each of these partial tables consists again of three sections:

user definitions
•
special system definitions
•
system default
With this AMO only the user defined entries can be changed.
For internal connections no entries can be made.
The user definition entries outvote the special system definition entries and the system default value. If a user defined entry for the actual situation is found, this is first taken.
If no user defined entry is available, the applicable special system definition entry is taken. Even if none of the special system definition entries is applicable, the system default value is finally used.
The special system definition entries and the system default value are preallocated. Only the user defined entries must be made, if other stations / lines (trunks) involved of a connection, than in the instruction manual call record structure described, which costs are to take over.
The user can make maximal 512 table entries. The following entries are already preallocated by the system:

3 system defaults
Therefore 507 user-defined table entries remain.
General description
Determination of the paying party parameters
In each entry of the paying party assignment table a call processing oriented situation is represented in each case.
In order to find the optimum entry of a processing oriented situation in the paying party assignment table, the following parameters are needed:
CONNTYPE ... type of connection,
SUPLSERV .... supplementary service,
SUBSID .......... subscriber identification,
TRANSTYP .... call transfer situation and
TRUNK ........... description see further below
The chargee CHARGEE 1 to 6 (parameter CHRGEEn) can be assigned to these call processing oriented situations in six columns, whereby the sequence of the chargee is determining in the actual situation. If no entries of the chargee are available, the default values (special system definitions or system default) determined previously are taken.
During each call or change of call status it is possible to try to find a as well as possible entry with the informations available at this time in the paying party assignment table.
With the found entry a list is, also after priority to graduated possible stations which the costs of this call section to take over is, at the disposal.
The first station also in the available call information is available, as payment is selected.
Parameter description for TRUNK
A trunk area TRUNK has a lower and upper limit value, whereby each limit value is structured as follows:
LTU-SLOT-CCT-BCHAN
If the entire possible trunk area is taken off, the value ANY is output.
The default value of parameters BCHAN, CCT, LTU and SLOT is set to ANY.
If only a subrange is covered for example by parameter CCT, then the entire area must be indicated for parameter BCHAN (see error messages F05, F06 and F07 in Section 71.4.1, “Error Messages”)

Parameter description for SUBSID (subscriber identification)
The following values for the subscriber identification (SUBSID) are entered into the paying party assignment table:
ANY ........... any identification
ATTEND .... attendant
HAS ........... PBX set
NIGHT ....... night server
SECR ........ secretary und
SUBSCR ... subscriber
There are two different cases (for the determination of the chargee (paying party)) with the selection of the values of the subscriber identification:
•
normal case:
•
For internal connections (CONNTYPE=INT) the values for subscriber identification are taken from the calling party (calling station (caller)).
•
For outgoing connections (CONNTYPE=OUTG) the values for subscriber identification are taken from the calling party (calling station (caller)).
•
For incoming connections (CONNTYPE=INCO) the values for subscriber identification are taken from the connected party (station with that a connection came).
•
special cases:
•
With a call forwarding (SUPPLSERV=CALLFOR) the subscriber identification is taken from the last redirecting party (last rerouted subscriber).
•
With a call pickup (SUPPLSERV=PICKUP) the subscriber identification is taken from the connected party (station with that a connection came).
•
With a call transfer (SUPPLSERV=TRANSFER) the subscriber identification is taken from the transferring party (attendant subscriber with a transfer call).
If at this time the station (party), from which in the special case the subscriber identification is taken is not available, the subscriber identification is determined in accordance with the normal case.
The special cases are independent of the connection type (CONNTYPE).
Definitions for internal connections
For the system default for internal calls
the call pays the used homeland station of a mobile calling station with a personal identification number (PIN) on an other terminal identified (paying party selection 1: Number of the homeland station of the calling station, that identifies itself with a personal identification number (PIN) on an other terminal) or
the used key line with the calling station (paying party selection 2: Number of the other line on use of a key set, which is used for the call) or
the caller (paying party selection 3: Calling station (caller)).
In each case the number first available of this sequence is selected.

Definitions for outgoing connections
For the special system definitions with outgoing connections two entries are created:
1.
An internal station builds up two outgoing calls (call transfer situation: Both partners are in the public network) and transfers the call (supplementary service: Call transfer).
In case of a call forwarding of a consultation hold to an external station (FWD) the first rerouted (internal) station has to pay the cost (paying party selection 1: First rerouted subscriber) or
the attend station is chargee of both connections (paying party selection 2: Attendant subscriber with a transfer call).

2.
A station is called, with a call forwarding (FWD) to external (supplementary service: Call forwarding),
in this case the last rerouted station has to pay the costs of the connection (paying party selection 1: Last rerouted subscriber).

For the system default for outgoing calls
the call pays the chargee who is determined in a other system of the network and transferred (paying party selection 1: Chargee was determinated before in the network and transferred) or
the used homeland station of a mobile calling station with a personal identification number (PIN) on an other terminal identified (paying party selection 2: Number of the homeland station of the calling station, that identifies itself with a personal identification number (PIN) on an other terminal) or
the used key line with the calling station (paying party selection 3: Number of the other line on use of a key set, which is used for the call) or
the caller (paying party selection 4: Calling station (caller)) or
if the call number is unknown, the calling trunk or its virtual number (AMO-TLZO) (paying party selection 5: number of calling (incoming/outgoing) trunk determinated with the help of AMO-TLZO).
In each case the number first available of this sequence is selected.

Definitions for incoming connections
For the special system definitions with outgoing connections two entries are created:
1.
A station is called by external (supplementary service: Call transfer) and transfers the call to a external station again (call transfer situation: Both partners are in the public network).
In the case of a call forwarding (FWD) of a consultation hold to an external station, the first rerouted (internal) subscriber has to pay the cost (paying party selection 1: First rerouted subscriber) or
the attend station remains is chargee of both connections (paying party selection 2: Attendant subscriber with a transfer call).

2.
If an incoming call is forwarded (supplementary service: Call forwarding),
in this case the originally called station has to pay the costs of the connection (paying party selection 1: Dialed number (called)).
If the number of the called station should not be available yet, then the calling (coming) trunk has to pay the connection (paying party selection 2: Number of calling (incoming/outgoing) trunk determinated with the help of AMO-TLZO).

For the system default for outgoing calls

the station with that a connection came (paying party selection 3: Station with that a connection came.) or
the called station (paying party selection 4: Dialed number (called)) or
if the call number is unknown, the calling trunk or its virtual number (AMO-TLZO) (paying party selection 5: number of calling (incoming/outgoing) trunk determinated with the help of AMO-TLZO).
In each case the number first available of this sequence is selected.

Interrelationships to AMO-GEFE
This AMO influences the paying party allocation.
The allocation of the costs (that is the chargee) is influenced by the AMO GEFE with connecting transfer by the attendant terminal or by secretary on executive.

Interrelationships to AMO-PERSI
This AMO influences the paying party allocation also.
If in branch COPIN (class of pin) the parameter value COPIN (adjustable per pin) the parameter DISPRSTN (displaying the remote station number to the call partner) is set to YES, then the fields CALLING and MOBILE USER before the determination of the chargee are exchanged (The visited station is to be selected as chargee).
