75 DIDCR - Direct Inward Dial Conversion Table

- DID digit translation

. on trunks that support DID translation, the system can receive
a maximum of 16 digits from the Central Office

. the system is able to delete a maximum of 14
digits of the received number insuring a minimum of 2
digits remaining

. the system uses the leading 2 digits of the remaining digits

. digit conversion occurs as follows:

- 2 digits remaining:
. converted to internal number (maximum 16 digits)

- greater than 2 digits remaining:
. leading 2 digits are removed from the digit string
and are used as the index into a table to retrive the prefix
digits which are prefixed to the remaining digit string.
(The prefix and remaining digits must not exceed 16 digits)
EXAMPLE:
using element 20 in table 1 of the display
example. 766209 comes in on a trunk, the leading
3 digits are deleted, the next 2 digits are used
as an index into the table which gives us the
prefix 12345 and the 9 from the original number is
appended resulting in 123459.

. the resulting extension/feature access number conforms
to the rules for extension/feature numbers and is used
by the system to route the call

. to provide DNIS or SID/ANI displays, SID/ANI routing, or routing to
a Route Control Group (RCG) the resulting number will need to be
defined as an internal routing number. Refer to the AMO
DNIT for
further details.

. the parameters for the DID digit translation are defined
for each trunk individually

- The system supports a maximum of 16 SRT tables and a maximum of 20
DID translation tables each table with:

. 100 numbers and
. for 4 Network Services (INWATS,VPN,SDS,PPC900)
each 100 SID/ANI data information.
The RULEIDX or the SRTIDX (Service Rule table index) parameter is set in AMO TDCSU when a DID, E&M or PRI trunk is created. The SRTIDX in AMO TDCSU is the same as the SRTABLE in DIDCR. The AMO should do a cross check if the RULEIDX to a DIDCR table, or the SRTIDX to a SRT table has been created or not. Therefore AMO DIDCR must run before running AMO TDCSU.
