The administration and maintenance order DNIT makes it possible to add, change, display, delete and regenerate information for ACD Directory Number Information and General Digit Translation.

With this AMO we can add an ACD number.

Three tables are required for DNIT:

•

DNI: Directory Number Information table
Stores routing and display information concerning source (SID/ANI)
and called party (DNIS) digit strings for ACD.

GDTR: General Digit Translation table
Stores the translation information used to evaluate the Calling Number.
This table contains rules that will evaluate the source number (Calling Number).

•

GDTRSR: General Digit Translation Service Rule table
Stores the information concerning the DNIS GDTRRULE for Primary Rate Interface trunks.

Definition of Terms:

•

DNIS: Dialed Number Identification Service
This feature allows special call routing and special call displays
based on the Original Called (Dialed) Number.

•

SID/ANI: Station Identification / Automatic Number Identification
This Feature allows special call routing and special call displays based on the Calling Number.

•

ANI: The Automatic Number Identification is a public network customer billing number stored at the public network central office serving the originator of the call. The ANI may be delivered when the SID number is not available.

•

SID: The Station Identification is the calling party number of the station originating the call.

A unique internal routing number is assigned to each entry in the DNI table. Then, an entry in the GDTR table can be created with a rule and a digit string that will translate to the ACD internal routing number. The internal routing number is used to access the routing and display information stored in the DNI table. Multiple digit strings may translate to the same internal routing number.

The DNI table stores the following fields for Automatic Call Distribution (ACD):

INTRTDN
The Internal Routing Number (INTRTDN) field is the internal routing directory number and specifies the number that will access the DNI entry. This number must have been previously set to have a digit analysis result of ’STN’ by AMO WABE.

GDTRRULE
The Source Rule (GDTRRULE) field is the general digit translation rule that is applied to the entry. For a SID/ANI entry (ROUTING=SA), the rule must be 0, which is a null rule.

TARGET
When entering a networking number for the TARGET parameter, up to 22 digits (barrier code, location code, and network extension) can be entered. The location code, if applicable, should only be entered for networking TARGETs. All other types of TARGETs, including local extension numbers, should be entered without barrier codes or location codes.

SARULE
The Source Rule (SARULE) field is the general digit translation rule that is applied to the entry. For SID/ANI, the rule must be 0, which is a null rule.

•

DISPLAY
The DISPLAY field stores the information to be displayed on the called device, depending on the type of routing being used. It is possible that the memory for the display pool may be exhausted. In this case, the amount of memory can be increased through AMO DIMSU.

•

ROUTING
The ROUTING field determines what type of routing takes place. For DNIS entry routing on DNIS (DRTD), an GDTRRULE is optional. For DNIS entry routing on SID/ANI (DRTSA), a GDTRRULE must be present; and for SID/ANI (SA) entry, the GDTRRULE must be set to null.

RCG
The Route Control Group (RCG) field stores the route control group number, which is used to access the ARTs established in the ACD Route Selection tables by AMO ACDRS. The RCG must have been previously created by AMO ACDSD, and have its routing defined by AMO ACDRS.

PRI and OVRPRI
The priority field (PRI) and overflow priority (OVRPRI) fields are used to determine the priority of the call. PRI is the initial primary priority of a call, while OVRPRI is the priority of the call when it is queued to an overflow ACD group. The lower the number is for these parameters, the higher the priority of the call. If the value for OVRPRI is 0, or no value is input for the priority in the ADD command, the override priority will default to whatever the PRI value is.

AUDSRCID
The Audible Source Identification Recorded Announcement Number (AUDSRCID) field stores the identification number of a recorder. The recorder is required to be configured as a random start ACD recorded announcement operating under continuous mode by AMO RCSU. A value of 0 means that no recorder is required.

THRSHLD
The Threshold (THRSHLD) parameter determines the maximum number of incoming trunk ACD calls in progress allowed for a given internal routing number before busy is returned. Initially the threshold is set to H’FFFF’, which is no threshold. If the threshold is ever desired to be set back to the null value, the value (*) should be entered through the CHANGE function.

REVCHA
The Reversed-Charged (REVCHA) parameter determines if the Internal Routing Number (INTRTDN) is allowed to receive reversed charging calls (used in Brazil).

The GDTR table stores the following fields for DNIS and SID/ANI entries:

GDTRRULE
The General Digit Translation Rule stores the GDTR DNIS rule (129-255) for non-sequencial DNIS numbers, or the GDTR SID/ANI rule (1-128) for SID/ANI numbers.

DGTSTR
The Digit String (DGTSTR) field stores the SID/ANI digit string and can be up to 22 digits in length. Wildcards (*) are allowed at the trailing positions and will match any digit. ANI only routing can be accomplished by using the Joker (#) which will match all digits of any length. When the Joker is used, it can be the only character for the DGTSTR. A digit string may be assigned to more than one rule.

INTRTDN
The Internal Routing Number (INTRTDN) field stores the internal routing number and translates into an entry in the DNI table.

SVCDATA
The Service data (SVCDATA) field stores the service preference, and is not allowed for a SID/ANI entry.

The GDTRSR table stores the following fields:

The GDTRSR table is indexed by trunk group (TGRP) and stores the called party (DNISRULE) for the different Network Services (NETSVC). The GDTRSR table will be initialized to 0, which indicates that no translation is possible for any network service. The CHANGE function must be used to establish a DNIS GDTR rule for at least one network service before the associated trunk group may access the GDTR table.
