155 RCSU - Recorder Configuration in SWU

Recorders can be provided for in advance by entering the recorder data, but without activating the recorders (set ACT to ’N’). To activate a recorder with the ADD command, set the parameter ACT to ’Y’. Recorders already configured are activated or deactivated only by using AMO DSSU. When a random start recorder is deactivated, it should be an immediate deactivation (DEA-DSSU:DI,...) whereas the fixed start recorder may be deactivated either conditionally (DEA-DSSU:DC,...) or likewise immediately.
Each of the 206 ACD recorded announcements (RECAPL=ACDR) is assigned a unique logical recorder number (RECNUM) from 1 to 206. These logical numbers are used by AMO DNIT and AMO ACDRT to reference the ACD recorded announcements. Each of the 32 ACD Music recorders (RECAPL=MUSIC) is assigned a unique logical music number (MUSNUM) from 1 to 32 which is used by AMO ACDRT to reference the ACD Music recorders. For music-on-hold recoreders (RECAPL=HMUSIC) the music number is called HMUSIC with the range 1 to 150.
Because of the direct relationship between AMO DNIT and AMO ACDRT on one hand and AMO RCSU on the other hand cross-checks are made between these AMOs to ensure that recorders are created before being referenced and similarly to ensure that all references are removed before a recorder can be deleted or have critical recorder information changed.
The ACD recorded announcements that are CONTINUOUS, RANDOM start will be used for audible source recorders and will be referenced in the Directory Number Information Table set up by AMO DNIT for AUDSRCID. These audible source recorders may be assigned a length of announcement time (LENGTH) from 1 to 16 seconds. A suggested length would be between 1 1/2 and 2 times the announcement length. An additional 2 seconds will be added by the AMO for internal processing. This additional time will not be displayed. If the length is not input for the ADD action, a default value of 3 seconds will be assigned to the audible source id.
The ACD recorded announcements that are DEMAND, FIXED start will be referenced in the ACD Route Step Tables set up by AMO ACDRT for RTREC. The fixed start recorded announcement must be assigned a length of time (LENGTH) in seconds for that announcement. The range goes from 1 to 14, increments of 1, and from 15 to 90, increments of 5. An additional 2 seconds will be added by the AMO for internal processing. This additional time will not be displayed. There will be no default time for the length of the fixed start announcement time. Therefore, this parameter will be required for the ADD when assigning a FIXED start recorder with RECAPL set to ACDR and required for the CHANGE action if changing a recorder to a FIXED start recorder with RECAPL set to ACDR.
