Each entry in static partner table requires DIMSU memory parameter PARTNODE.
At the specified PEN a trunk circuit bust have been configured by AMO TACSU or AMO TDCSU. Analog and digital trunks are allowed but for analog trunks the parameter BCGR will be ignored.
The automatic mechanism will work only for digital trunks with protocol CORNET-NQ and SEGMENTATION=8.
More than one entry per combination PEN and BCGR can be configured, one for each Partner Node (PTNAC). A mix of manual and automatic entries for a trunk is allowed (e.g. one node behind a MUX reports automatically and another has a manual entry).
Already existing entries are not overwritten.
With the OVRD Parameter can be controlled wheter the entry will be overwritten by the automatic mechanism or not.
An entry with
OVRD=AUT will be overwritten if the automatic mechanism receives an answer from the partner node.
OVRD=MAN will not take part the automatic collection of node numbers, and therefore will not be overwritten.
The partner node number (PTNNO) must fit to the conventions to AMO ZAND (e.g. levels have to be filled from low to high).
The partner pen (PTPEN) will be checked formally only. Further checks of the PTPEN are not possible because no information about partner node is available (e.g type of shelves).
