When night service is in effect, an attendant group (ATNDGR) is represented by a night option. All calls to the attendant group are signalled on an available device that is allocated to this night option. The allocation of the devices to the night options is carried out by means of this AMO.
The feature "Centralized Attendant Services" also offers the option of assigning an attendant group to a night option (instead of a specific device). This attendant group can then function as a night switch for the entire attendant traffic of the ATNDGR which needs to be represented. An attendant group which takes on the duties of another attendant group is a "centralized attendant services group" (CASGR). A CASGR can be an ATNDGR within the same PABX (CASINT) or even within the same integrated network (CASEXT).
Thus, this AMO provides a range of night options, which can be identified by their option number. Using AMO VFGR, it is then possible to allocate up to 8 of these night options to each ATNDGR. The night option that represents a given ATNDGR when the night service is active can be individually defined via screen menu at an attendant console (ATND) in that ATNDGR.
A night option can assume the following configurations:

"None" Night Option (Dummy Option, Blank Option)
Only one option can be defined as a dummy option. It can be allocated to an ATNDGR as a night option if the particular ATNDGR does not wish to have night service.

General Answering from any Station Option/ Universal Night Answer/
Night bell pick-up
Options of this type consist of exactly one device created especially for "general answering from any station" by means of AMO SSC.

Station Option
Options of this type consist of up to 10 assigned local stations of the own node.
Incoming calls are allocated cyclically.

CASINT option
Options of this type consist of an ATNDGR in the same PABX as the ATNDGR to be represented, which is identified by its attendant group number (ATNDGR). An internal CASGR may only be assigned to one night option. However, an internal CASGR does not have to be assigned as such using the AMO VFGR, since its presence is not verified by this AMO.

CASEXT option
Options of this type consists of an ATNDGR within an integrated network, which is identified by its attendant group dialing code and the destination number of the PABX to which it belongs. An external CASGR may only be assigned to one night option. However, neither the attendant group dialing code (AMO VFGKZ) nor the destination number (AMO RICHT) must have been specifically assigned, since the presence is not verified by this AMO.

The parameter CD is need to enter a 22 digit number. For open numbering this number consits of the tie trunk access code and attendant code. For closed numbering the attendant code of the ATNDGR for the target switch is used. This identification number must exist in the digit translation as a digit analysis = NETWORK along with the corresponding target number.
