SDSU Status Display of Switching Unit

The status of all modules, trunks, devices and SERVERs is stored in the memory of COMMON CONTROL (CC). The AMO SDSU (Status Display of Switching Unit) is used to obtain a status overview of all modules, trunks and devices of the SWU, as well the overall status of the SERVER.
The AMO runs in the active side of the COMMON CONTROL.

Restrictions

This AMO description is valid beginning with HICOM UNITY 1.0.

    Status selection

    Parameter LINK is relevant only in the first case if more then one status is input. There are cases, where ALL and SPEC produce completely different outputs. E.g. the circuits of a SIUP are put into operation by dependability (output READY at STATUS=SPEC), but are not connected with peripheral units (output NOGEN at STATUS=ALL).

    Note

    After generating the empty data base, the AMO should not be started, as long, as the LTG is not on line. This could lead to a restart of the SWU. In split mode a start of the AMO should be avoided, because there is no connection from the standalone CC to the periphery. The concerning states therefore are not valid.

    Sample Outputs:

    1. Non-operational states should be output for the central SWU modules (CC, LTG). The states READY, DEP, CP, RES and NOGEN & NPR will not be shown (no input for parameter STATUS).

    2. Display all states of the CC and central LTG modules.

    3. Search the entire SWU for a status; this status, however, is not set.

    4. Display all states of MTS modules with highway inputs of the first switching level.

    5. Display all states of the TSLs of HWY 58 - 69 for all LTUs.

    6. All states should be output for the Servers.

    7. Display every status of all peripheral modules (without trunks and devices) of LTG1/LTU2.

    8. As in Example 7, however now only the states READY & LOCK are to be output. The default value for a search link (parameter LINK) is "OR". That means that every module with status READY or LOCK is output.

    9. As in Example 8, however the search link (parameter LINK) for the states LOCK & AMO is now 'AND'. This means that only those modules are output for which a hard block has been performed with an AMO.

    10. From the module having the address LTG1/LTU1/SLOT97, those trunks should be output, which are out of service.

    11. As in Example 10, however, trunks and terminals, which are out of service, should be output.

    12. From the module with the address LTG1/LTU1/SLOT79, all modules, trunk and terminal states should be output.

    13. As in Example 12, however the only output is the status RBLK.

    14. From the module having the address LTG1/LTU1/SLOT61, all states of trunk 10 are displayed.

    15. All states of trunk 0 and the connected device shall be output by the module with address LTG1/LTU1/SLOT85.

    16. From a specific directory number range with service voice, the defective modules and trunks are displayed.

    17. For a specific STNO, service DTE and all states of modules, trunks and terminals are displayed.

    18. For a specific station number, the service FAX is defective. Interrogate module, trunk and terminal allocated to this service.

    19. For a specific line range, all states of modules and trunks are displayed.

    20. For a specific line, the states of module, trunk and device are displayed.

    21. For a DIUC64 the error states of the PCM paths are displyed.

    22. A MSN-call number and the related main call number shall be displayed.

    23. The status of all TC-Servers in the system shall be displayed.

    24. Display STATUS for STMA module on a specific PEN.

    25. As in Example 24, but only the states UNACH & NPR are to be output.

    26. The status of CBM modules on a LTUCC board on a specific PEN shall be displayed.

    27. The status of a local shelf (LS) LTU shall be displayed.
