Parameter Description for Selection Groups
The parameters RESOP, BASDEV, RESDEV, BLBAS and BLRES form a min-1-group for the function CHANGE-SELG. At least one of these parameters must be declared.

A reserve device entry is not permissible in the following instances:

Possible Values

Y
If a reserve device has been specified, reserve operation is started immediately in the event of a defective base device.
N
If a reserve device has been specified, reserve operation is not started until the queue capacity limit is reached.
Prior to each output on the reserve device, a check is made to determine whether the base device is still defective. Output is automatically switched to the base device as soon as it is repaired.
