The Extend Call to Paged User feature can be used by the attendant
to join a call that is either held at theT,O or R (recall)sub-units or
parked, with a paged user who calls into the attendant P sub-unit.(Personal
Key) The 2 parties are connected following depression of the JOIN key
and then selection of the relevant held or parked party.
This feature is available network-wide.
It is envisaged that this feature will be utilised by the attendant
for the following scenarios
After a transferred call to a user has not been answered and the call has recalled
to the
attendant. The attendant then has the option to page the wanted user
An internal user may not be able to contact a user at their extension and request
assistance
from the attendant.
The attendant has the option of extending any call received at the P sub-unit(Personal
key)to
any held or parked call at the other sub-units.(Trunk key ,Attendant key or Parked
call).
