There are many default COT and COP parameters on the hard-disk. These are each predefined for a certain country. You can determine which parameters are relevant for which country from the variant table (see Section 175.4, "Variant table and value in the database for COT" and Section 175.3, "Variant table and value in the database for COP").
With a variant table, a certain COT or COP can be copied to the database via COPY-COT or COPY-COP.
