  • The board is configured and is plugged in a peripheral slot of the OpenScape 4000.
  • The board is connected directly to the OpenScape 4000 backplane and supports the DIUS2 message interface. Additionally, interfaces for loading, administration and debugging are added.
  • The loading and administration process is now supported via OpenScape 4000. No separate PC is necessary any longer. The exception to this is in the initial configuration of the board when software known as the Eprom Extender has to be loaded into the board . Also it is possible to connect the PC via V.24 to the board for special debugging purposes (this is limited to product specialists)
