A consultation hold in the external system is initiated or cancelled with flash or ground. Because the OpenScape 4000 does not know whether an incoming call is a consultation hold call, the call can be picked up with either the feature Trunk grounding/trunk flash or the feature Picking up a consultation hold in straightforward trunk calls.
