10.42.14.12. PIN/PCODE and Call Transfer (Extension) Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

A call set up via PIN or PCODE can be transferred to another user. There are two variants of this feature:
  • PIN/PCODE of call initiator is replaced with PIN/PCODE of party to whom the call is transferred:
    CHA-PERSI:TYPE=COPIN,COPIN=number,PINEXT=N;

    • The party to whom the call is transferred does identify himself or herself via PIN. In this case, the call charges for the second stage of the call are assigned to this party.
    • The party to whom the call is transferred does not identify himself or herself via PIN. In this case, the initiator of the call is assigned the call charges for the outgoing exchange call. The PIN/PCODE of the initiator also appears in the call charge record for the second stage of the call, together with the station number of the party to whom the call was transferred.
  • PIN/PCODE of call initiator is not replaced with PIN/PCODE of party to whom the call is transferred:
    CHA-PERSI:TYPE=COPIN,COPIN=number,PINEXT=Y;

    In this second case, e.g. for PCODEs, the call charges are always assigned to the call initiator, regardless of whether or not the party to whom the call is transferred has activated his/her PIN.
