17.39. NCTP - Partner node cannot execute network-wide call forwarding after transfer Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

No Call Forwarding no Reply after Transfer Possible

Feature:

Network-wide call forwarding after transfer of a waiting line to a free terminal

Function:

The parameter NCTP can be used to set the return point for executing call forwarding after transfer of a waiting connection in the COT of a line.
If the parameter is set, no update or connection data for executing call forwarding after transfer is forwarded to the next node. The NCTP trunk becomes the return point and assumes the control activity for the subsequent connection setup for call forwarding between the waiting connection and the new connection to be called and the original connection called.
This parameter is to be set at the digital network interface points of an OpenScape 4000 for old Hicom 300 variants and for external systems that do not support this function. It only applies to the feature described.
IMPORTANT:
The trunk parameters FWDN (call forwarding network-wide) and FNAN (call forwarding no answer network-wide) do not affect the function of the NCTP parameter.

Device types:

All digital interface circuits that are connected in the group of Hicom 300 variants of software level < Hicom 300 E V3.0
All CO trunk circuits that do not support this function
