SA - Hunting arrangements

By means of AMO SA, all terminals, with the exception of attendant consoles, can be combined into a hunting group . The number of possible hunting groups in the system is defined by means of AMO DIMSU.

There are two types of hunting groups:

The STYPE parameter is used to select the type of search operation (cyclical or linear). In the case of cyclical search operations, all stations in a hunting group are seized one by one, and only then does the search start again at the beginning. In the case of linear search operations, an attempt is made to seize the first station in the hunting group.

Every terminal can only be member of a hunting group once, it may however be set up in several hunting groups.

Master of a hunting group cannot be master or member of an ONS group. In addition, member of a hunting group cannot be member of an ONS group, whereas member of a hunting group can be master of an ONS group.

Functional terminals on the S0 bus which are members in a hunting group must be deactivated from the hunting group before being decoupled from the bus.

For functional hunting group members the COSSU authorization MULTRA must not be set.

In the case of the non-voice services (FAX, DTE), a check is made to determine if the specified station number points to the device associated with that station. This means that no station STNOs are created in the hunting group that point to a terminal other than their own. These STNOs are created by means of AMO TGER.

In case of voice hunting groups the station number (22 digits) is not checked. Any external access code can be entered as a member to a voice hunt group.

The sequence of members in the hunting group is identical to the sequence in the ADD command. A maximum of 10 station numbers can be processed at one time for each ADD command. If the hunting group is to include more than 10 STNOs, the previously created hunting group can be expanded to include an additional 10 STNOs by means of an other ADD command (type STN). This can be repeated as often as desired. If one or more terminals are to be added to an existing hunting group, the parameter "POS" can be used to indicate where in the hunting group the new terminals are to be inserted.

The association of the individual members of the hunting group with an ITR (internal traffic relation / closed user) group is not checked when the hunting group is created.

If all the terminals of a hunting group are seized, it is possible to create a call queuer for voice (parameter CQMAX), and thus an overflow to the voice mail server (MBNO).

Voice hunting group: By means of the parameter "CQMAX", the dimensions the call queuer in this hunting group (maximum number of internal and external calls) can be defined. The overall capacity of all call queuers is defined in AMO DIMSU.
The calls are entered into the call queuer according to priority and all calls with the same priority are entered in the order in which they are received. The priority cannot be changed using this AMO. The order of priority is normally as follows:

  1. Emergency calls,
  2. CO calls,
  3. Tie-line calls,
  4. Internal calls.

By means of the parameter "DISPTYPE", the following options are possible for number displayed at partner station:

If newly arriving calls to a full call queuer are not to be rejected, the AMO SA, parameter OVFLDEST can be used to create an ovelflow destination. Overflow destination can be:

No overflow can be created for the non voice services.

Virtual node number (NNO) used for number modification:

It is possible to add a NNO or to change one NNO to another (for voice services).
If NNO is not present for ADD, then:

The virtual node id can contain max. 3 levels:
  • Form: <level2>-<level1>-<level0> (e.g. 1-2-3 or 3-15 or 222).
  • Levels have to be filled from low to high (e.g not allowed 1-0-12 or 1-0-0).
  • Possible Values: level2: 0-29, level1: 0-253, level 0: 1-999.

  • Notes A hunt group access code which is to be reached under several STNOs can be duplicated from an existing STNO onto a new STNO by means of a special create command (TYPE= DUPL) if the digit analysis result (DAR) "HUNT" is set for the same DPLN and CPSs (Call progress state) for both of the STNOs.

    The following can be carried out by means of this function:

    1. A new hunting group of the type "voice" can be created (for an existing SA route, it is entered into all duplicated routes);
    2. A new hunting group of the type FAX or DTE can be created (for an existing SA route, it is entered into all duplicated routes);

    3. An existing hunting group can be expanded to include new members (is automatically expanded in all duplicated routes);

    4. An existing hunting group route can be duplicated from one STNO to another (only for pilot hunting group).

    Examples

    1. Create: master hunting group with the STNO 2103, service voice, stations 2100-2101, STYPE=LIN with call queuer capacity of 20 stations.

      Input:
      ADD-SA:VCE, 2103 , 0, ,, 2100&2101, LIN, 20, ,;
    2. Duplicate the hunting group having STNO *21 at *3.

      Input:
      ADD-SA:TYPE=DUPL,CDOLD=*21,CDNEW=*3;

    DELETE-SA

    DELETE-SA

    TYPE=NAME,CD=<key-num>, [DPLN=<number>], [CPS=<number>];
    TYPE=CD,CD=<key-num>, [DPLN=<number>], [CPS=<number>];

    The following can be deleted:

    1. a hunting group for a service (all duplicate hunting groups will be deleted automatically);

    2. members can be deleted from a hunting group for a specific service (they will be deleted automatically from all duplicate hunting groups);

    3. the name of a hunting group (will be automatically deleted from all duplicate hunting groups);

    4. all hunting groups for the specified station number for all services (e.g. 3 hunting groups have been set up for STNO=*73, one each for VCE and FAX).

    CHANGE-SA

    CHANGE-SA

    TYPE=NNO,CD=<key-num>, [DPLN=<number>], [CPS=<number>], [NNO=<number>];

    CHANGE-SA has the following functions:

    1. Changing the station number of the hunting group;
      In the case of a master hunting group, only the hunting group station number can be changed.
      If the user wants to change a master into a code hunting group, he must first delete the master and then add the code hunting group.
      In addition to this, the following should be noted when changing the station number of a hunting group: the new code must have the same DPLN (WABE) group and the same CPS distribution as the old code. (DISPLAY-WABE).
    2. Change the Search type for any service (automatically applies for all duplicated routes )

    3. Change the name (is also carried out in all duplicated routes)
    4. Change the call queuer capacity for the service "voice" (automatically applies for all duplicated routes)
    5. Change the overflow destination for the service "voice" (automatically applies for all duplicated routes).
    6. Change the NNO for the service "voice" (automatically applies for all duplicated routes).

    DISPLAY-SA

    DISPLAY-SA [CD=<key-num>], [DPLN=<number>], [SVC=<param>], [STNO=<key-num>], [OVERFLOW=<param>], [FORMAT=<param>], [ACLHGNO=<number>];

    The hunting groups and all their associated data can be interrogated according to the DPLN and the service, or a member of the hunting group can be interrogated, or the interrogation can be made according to a combination of the 6 parameters. When SA routes are duplicated, their access codes are also output when the data for the first STNOs are output. The FORMAT parameter can be used to specify the Desired output format. If FORMAT=GR, the device search data MG (master group) and SG (subgroup) will be output for traffic metering purposes.
    Example

    1. Interrogate all existing hunting groups valid for all DPLN groups.

Furthermore, when a station is disconnected and then reconnected to the hunting group using the AMADAPT-TASK, the call queuing capacity will be automatically matched to the number of stations.
    Type of Input: single value, 3. parameter of a min-1-group (CHANGE,TYPE=TYPE-Hunt type)
    single value, optional (ADD,TYPE=VCE-Voice)
    Possible Values: N No FALSE
    Y Yes TRUE
    Default Value: NO (ADD,TYPE=VCE-Voice)
